If you have a wardrobe that other women envy, then you're sure to be a top earner at Adrienne's, too. Our shoppers are savvy, fashion-forward women who are seeking the next great addition to their wardrobes, and they desire unique, high-quality items that stand out from the ordinary.
Just Follow these Steps:
1) Assess your wardrobe.
We carefully curate items for consignment, and we are looking for high-quality, unique items that are currently in demand and no more than 5 years old. Our fastest-selling, top-earning brands are along the lines of Alice & Olivia, Anthropologie brands, Free People, J. Crew, Tory Burch, Trina Turk, and premium denim. Shoes and bags from brands like Frye, Golden Goose, Kate Spade, Brahmin, Michael Kors, and Hobo are in demand. Though we are primarily looking for interesting boutique labels, we do carry a small amount of CURRENT pieces from chain stores such as Banana Republic, White House/Black Market, Loft, Zara, and similar level brands. Low-demand brands such as Talbots and Chico's, as well as low-value brands such as Old Navy, H&M, Target, Forever 21, Maurice's, and Shein, will NOT be accepted for consignment. Please know that, due to ever-evolving consumer preferences, our list of accepted designers and styles WILL change from season to season. We are actively seeking new consignors with fabulous items in sizes M, L, and XL. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to open NEW accounts for consignors with sizes XS and S clothing.
We require minimum of 30 pieces to open a new account, and there is a one-time $25 new account fee. For formalwear consignments, we accept single items and we do NOT charge a new account fee.
2) Check for stains and damage.
We strongly encourage you to inspect all items inside and out for deodorant, makeup, and other stains. Items must be clean before delivery or they will be disposed of. Also, check for missing buttons, loose hems, snags, or other issues, and look for any items left in pockets or handbags. All items must be delivered on hangers. Shoes must be in nearly-new condition, with heels intact, and clean soles and insoles. Check pockets and handbags for any items, also. Make sure all items are clean, fresh, pressed, and in ready-to-sell condition.
3) All items must be delivered on hangers.
We are able to quickly and efficiently process your items when they are hanging. We are glad to return your hangers (1-2 day wait time possible) or you may pick up some from us beforehand, if needed. Some items, such as sweaters, may be delivered in shopping bags or boxes, but please allow more time for us to process.
4) Contact us to schedule your drop-off visit.
Please email us at adriennesconsignment@gmail.com for available consignment times. We accept spring items from March-May and fall items from August-October. Prom dresses are accepted January-April, and other formalwear is accepted throughout the year, dependent on space.
We'll put our decades of expertise to work for you! We will process all of your items and enter them into our customized inventory system. We price all items based on brand, condition, and market demand. You will receive a full report, via email, of all items received. Depending on the Adrienne's price for your items, you will receive 40-60% of our selling prices. As your pieces sell, your commission is continually tallied, so all records are accurate and up-to-the-minute. At any time, you may use your earnings to shop at Adrienne's, or let your earnings continue to build until it's time for your paycheck. It's that easy! We look forward to working with you!
